Chile was once a major wheat exporter, but now concentrates on meeting domestic needs with some of the world’s most advanced technology and highest yields. This ten day tour takes you to the most important agricultural regions of Chile and includes comprehensive farm visits and interviews with growers as well as experts.
Day 1, Sunday
Welcome at the airport by Anglatin Ltda.
Transfer to the Hotel. Check-in Hotel. Dinner at hotel. Free evening. Overnight stay in Santiago
Day 2, Monday
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Rancagua. Visit to a grainfield Farm. Interview with the owner. Lunch in Rancagua. In the afternoon we continue visiting grain producers in the zone. Departure to Curicó . Check-in Hotel. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Curicó
Day 3, Tuesday
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Talca. Visits to mills and wheat plantations. Lunch at Toro Bayo restaurant. In the afternoon we continue visiting the zone. Check- in Hotel Termas de Quinamávida or similar. Dinner at Termas de Quinamavida.
Overnight stay in Linares
Day 4, Wednesday
Breakfast in the hotel. Visits to wheat processing plants, mills and producers.
Lunch at Termas de Quinamávida. Visit to farms in the zone that produce wheat, rice, corn, beans, beets and fruits. Dinner at termas de Quinamavida.
Overnight stay in Linares.
