Day 1, Madrid – Burgos
Arrival in Madrid and transfer to Burgos. Overnight in Burgos

Day 2, Burgos – Lerma – Covarrubias – Santo Domingo de la Calzada – Burgos
Breakfast. Departure to Lerma, after enjoy this picturesque village we will continue to Covarrubias before arriving to Santo Domingo de la Calzada, small town which owes its name to Dominic, and C11 hermit who built a bridge or causeway (calzada) on the site to help pilgrims on their way to Santiago. Today we will also enjoy the visit of one winery in this region with the denomination “Vinos de la Tierra”. Return to Burgos. Overnight in Burgos
 
Day 3, Burgos – Valladolid
Breakfast. Guided Visit Burgos, the city of Burgos –known as the cradle of Castilla- was founded by Diego Rodriguez in 884 and was selected as capital of the united kingdom of Castilla and León in 1037. Architects and sculptors arrived and made Burgos the Spain’s Gothic capital with outstanding works such as the Cathedral or the Carthusian Monastery Miraflores. Departure to Peñafiel. Visit one wine cellar with wine sampling on the way to Valladolid. Overnight in Valladolid
 
Day 4, Valladolid – Peñafiel – La Ribera del Duero - Valladolid
Breakfast. In the morning departure to Peñafiel where we will visit the impressive and unique rock castle, where the regional Wine Museum of Castilla and León is located.
Visit the Wine Museum and wine tasting. After lunch we will continue our trip through La Ribera del Duero where we will visit one of the wine cellars of this area.
Return to Valladolid. Guided Visit Valladolid , visit the Old Quarter of Valladolid as well as its interesting National Museum of Sacred Sculpture with impressive works. Overnight in Valladolid

Day 5, Valladolid – Medina del Campo – Olmedo – Coca – Rueda – Valladolid
Breakfast. Departure to Medina del Campo –once an international financial centre and the town in which Isabel la Católica died-, Olmedo –with its Mudejar-style church of San Miguel-, Coca and its impressive castle –one of the most relevant exampled of Mudejar military architecture and Rueda. In Rueda we will enjoy the visit one of its wineries and discover its aromatic white wines extracted from the white Verdejo and Sauvignon grapes. Overnight in Valladolid


Cathedral of Salamanca

Day 6, Valladolid – Toro – Zamora – Salamanca
Breakfast. Departure to Salamanca through Toro and Zamora. Toro, with its Denomination of Origin is a true revelation in the realm of Spanish wines. In Toro they produce excellent, robust red wines, distinctive for their fruity components. Visit one Wine Cellar in Toro. Guided Visit Zamora, here we will enjoy the old town with its beautiful art-deco houses, cathedral, Roman bridge and city walls. In the afternoon we depart to Salamanca. Overnight in Salamanca

Day 7, Salamanca
Breakfast. Guided Visit Salamanca, today we discover Salamanca, World Heritage City and European Capital of Culture in 2002. The city impresses us with its emblematic buildings made of golden stone, its marvelous works of art, its rich cultural life. The finest square (Plaza Mayor) and the oldest university of Spain, the House of Shells, the patio of the Minor Schools, the old and the new Cathedral, the Convent of St. Stephen, the Roman Bridge, the art-deco museum of the Casa Lys. Free afternoon. Today we will have the chance to made a wine tasting with some of the regional wines of Salamanca such “Arribes del Duero” and “Tiriñuelo”. Overnight in Salamanca 

Day 8, Salamanca – Avila – Madrid
Breakfast. Transfer to Madrid. Depending of the return flight schedule we can visit the Mankind Heritage City of Avila on our way to Madrid airport
