Santiago has become the commercial capital of South America. With its modern high rise glass and steel buildings, efficient transportation and communication system, friendly and safe neighborhoods, Santiago is a very easy and stimulating city to visit. In addition to many attractive museums, the Plaza de Armas surrounded with colonial architecture, and the San Cristóbal Hill park overlooking the entire central valley, there are shopping centers that match anything in Europe or the United States and world class restaurants featuring Chile’s famous seafood.
