Chile is a land of seafood abundance. The sea in the North overflows with industrial fish, in the center with shellfish and sweet white fish, and in the south we find the World’s largest production of farmed Salmon.
Quaint fishing villages are surrounded by modern processing plants. Airplanes laden with frozen and fresh-iced fillets and steaks depart for Europe, North America and Asia. Chileans sit down to mouth-watering plates of clams, shrimp, soles, oysters and other fruits of the sea, enhanced by famous Chilean wine and mounds of vegetable salads.
