Day 1 Sunday - Geneva/Switzerland
Group arrival at Geneva airport to be welcomed by our English speaking tour manager. Transfer to your hotel for check in. Afterwards meet with your city guide and start the city tour of Geneva. You’ll been shown the old town and the Cathédrale de St Pierre, which was the scene of much of Calvin's work in the Swiss Reformation. He and fellow reformers are honoured by the massive Reformation Monument in the leafy Bastion Park. In and around the old town are many fine museums including the Maison Tavel (city history), the Petit Palais (modern art) and the Museum of Art and History. Welcome-Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2 Monday - Geneva – Freiburg/Germany
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning visit at American Consulate and solar electric system. (own arrangement) Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure for Lausanne. Visit the University of Lausanne (own arrangement). Proceed on to Freiburg. Late afternoon arrival and check in at you hotel. Overnight.

Day 3 Tuesday - Freiburg - Heidelberg
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning visit at Fraunhofer Solar institute (own arrangement). Afterwards visit a solar module factory (own arrangement). Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free in Freiburg for shopping or own exploration. Proceed on to Heidelberg. Arrival and check in at your hotel for overnight.

Day 4 Wednesday - Heidelberg – Karlsruhe
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning technical visit in field of new energy. Meet with city officials (own arrangement). Proceed on to Karlsruhe. Lunch en route. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Overnight at Karlsruhe.

Day 5 Thursday - Karlsruhe – Bonn
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning visit to centre for Arts and Media Technology (own arrangement). Afterwards meet with transportation officials (own arrangement). Proceed on to Bonn. Lunch en route. Arrival and check in at your hotel. Overnight at Bonn.

Day 6 Friday - Bonn
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet with energy officials (own arrangement). Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards technical visit in field of New Energy. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 Saturday - Bonn
Breakfast at your hotel. Departure for Cologne. City Tour of Cologne. Founded by the Romans as a frontier post on the west bank of the Rhine, Cologne (Köln) went on to become medieval Germany's biggest city. After the obliteration of most of the historic centre by wartime bombing, Cologne was rebuilt according to its medieval street pattern. Today it is one of the country's great metropolitan cities, a centre of commerce, industry, and culture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit a local winery including wine tasting. Return to Bonn for overnight.

Day 8 Sunday - Bonn - Amersfoort/Netherlands
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards board onto the KD Rhine river cruise ship for a river cruise through the Rhine-valley, offering an amount of scenic places and beautiful landscape.  Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon departure for Amersfoort / Netherlands. Late afternoon arrival and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Amersfoort.

Day 9 Monday - Amersfoort
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit solar village and a wind farm (own arrangements). Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free for shopping or leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 10 Tuesday - Amersfoort – Amsterdam airport
Breakfast at your hotel. Free time for shopping or leisure before transfer to the Amsterdam airport. Farewell from your tour manager and check in for your flight home.
End of services.
