Day 3
Travel to Normandy. Guided visit of the old town of Rouen. The cathedral, located in the heart of the town, is a this jewel of gothic architecture and the symbol of ROUEN, "the town of 100 spires". Visit the Old Market Square where Joan of Arc was burned in 1431.
Visit The Gros Horloge, one of the oldest in the world is the most popular monument of the town. Lunch free on your own. Short Visit of Honfleur, on the Seine Estuary at the foot of the Côte de Grace hill. It is a delightful town with its old dock, church and ancient streets combining into a singular harmony. Visit of a dairy farm (100 Norman cows) in Lisieux region Dinner. Overnight Caen.
Day 4
Visit the D-Day beaches of Omaha and Utah. Visit Colleville American Military Cemetery where 9385 marble crosses stand aligned in an impressive array. Visit Hoc Point, the place where 225 American rangers climbed the cliffs to reduce a German battery particularly dangerous to troops landing on Omaha Beach.. Lunch in Bayeux. Short visit of Bayeux cathedral, a fine edifice of Norman Gothic Style Guided. Visit of Caen, capital of Lower Normandy, Prefecture of the Calvados region, and an industrial centre and river port. Day 5
Visit of a farm in Villers Bocage region (150 Holstein cows. 20 hectares of apple trees). Cider and Calvados tasting Lunch in Le Mont Saint Michel. Visit of Le Mont Saint Michel. Shrouded by mist, engulfed by sea, soaring proud above glistening sands, the silhouette of the Mont-Saint-Michel is one of the most enchanting sights in France. Lying strategically on the frontier between Normandy and Brittany, Mont-Saint-Michel grew from the humble 8th-century oratory to become a Benedictine Manstery that had the greatest influence in the 12th and 13th-centuries. The abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel served as a Benedictine monastery and, for 73 years after the Revolution as a political prison. Visit of a sheep farm (pré salé).
