Arrival Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International airport. Reception by Anglatin Ltd.® Flight to Cuiabá. Arrival Cuiabá, capital of Mato Grosso state. Transfer to Rondonópolis via bus. Tour orientation en route. Rondonópolis is in the heart of the agriculturally booming Cerrado region. Thousands of acres are being opened to plantings of soybeans and other crops. Check-in hotel. Free evening. Overnight Rondonópolis

Day 2, Monday,
Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Visit Fundaçâo Mato Grosso, research center for no or low till crop production methods. Interview researchers. Visit to Archer Daniels Midland facility, regional soybean processing plant. Interview manager. Group lunch. Visit to the Maggi Group offices for presentation on this major soybean producer, processor and shipper. To hotel. Free evening. Optional interaction with local farm families and community organizations. Overnight Serra da Petrovina

Day 3, Tuesday,
Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Transfer via bus to Serra da Petrovina, area of the largest soybean, corn, cotton, vegetable and seed producers. Tour of Polato farm, producing more then 5,000 hectares of beans and grain. Interview with manager re no-till farming, pest control and other production topics. Group lunch. Tour Girassol farms, another 5,000 hectare plus bean and grain producer. Interview with manager regarding world markets, production challenges, market structure and other topics.

Tour Adriana farms, over 5,000 hectares of beans and grain. Discuss agriculture policy and development with manager. Return to hotel. Free evening. Optional interaction with local farm families and community leaders. Overnight Rondópolis

Day 4, Wednesday,
Transfer to Cuiabá. Flight to Sao Paulo. Arrive Sao Paulo. Flight to Curitiba. Arrive Curitiba. Curitiba is one of the most progressive and well planned cities in Brazil. Transfer via bus to Ponta Grossa. This is a region of rolling well-watered farmland with soybeans, grain, dairy and beef the most predominant. Check-in at Hotel. Overnight Ponta Grossa

Day 5, Thursday,
Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Workshop by the president of IMPAR, and agricultural consultancy. Topics include overview of Brazilian agriculture for 2005-2005, analysis of Cerrado and Paraná region agriculture, and the business of agriculture consultancy in Brazil. Guided tour of Casa and Memória in Carambeí, an immaculate Dutch community with classic church and other historic buildings. Tour of Castrolandia, one of the state’s largest agricultural cooperatives. Interview with directors. Group lunch. Guided tour of Santa Maria and Santa Cruz farms, producers of soybeans, corn, beans and turf grass. Interview owners. Interview management consultant. Return to Hotel. Free evening. Optional visits to local churches, clubs and restaurants. Overnight Ponta Grossa

Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Tour of Batavo, an extremely well managed and successful cooperative. Interviews with management. Tour of Batavia Dairy processing plant. Interview with management regarding dairy health, prices and production. Group lunch on hill overlooking the city of Castro, a popular tourist destination. Visit to the ABC foundation, Brazil’s major livestock improvement association. Interview director about livestock health and productivity. Return to hotel. Optional evening visit to social club and interaction with community leaders. Overnight Ponta Grossa

Day 7, Saturday,
Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Depart to Guarapuava, in the direction of Iguassu. Tour of Agraria Cooperative. Interview with directors/growers regarding the cooperative’s challenges. Group lunch. Tour of wheat elevator and interview manager about the changes in Brazil wheat production and markets. Visit grain farm and interview grower regarding production and marketing challenges. Check-in, Hotel. Free evening. Overnight Guarapuava

Day 8, Sunday,
Breakfast in hotel Preview of day’s activities. Depart to Iguassu Falls with scenic stops en route. Group lunch. Check-in Hotel Iguassu. Free evening. Overnight Iguassu Falls

Day 9, Monday,
Breakfast in hotel. Preview of day’s activities. Guided tour of the Iguassu National Park and Iguassu Falls including a one hour walk through the park and along the falls, a 3 kilometer 4X4 excursion to the inflatable boats which take visitors to the base of the falls. Group lunch. Free time to explore the village and park. Group dinner including folk music and dancing. Overnight Iguassu Falls

Day 10, Tuesday,
